Pak Suzuki has donated a Suzuki Bolan Van to JS (Jahangir Siddiqui) Academy for the Deaf on 11th December, 2015. JS Academy is a project of Noor-e-Ali Trust, providing education and developing skills (like Computer literacy, Painting, Wooden craft, Calligraphy, Sewing, Physical Exercises, Sign language classes, etc.) to the deaf students, in helping them to become self-dependent via a meaningful literacy and education program so that they serve the country as responsible citizen. Currently around 183 students (not only belongs to Karachi but other parts of the country also) are getting education & trainings from Kindergarten to Graduation level almost free of Cost (i.e. only Rs 25/month has been charged as “monthly fee” while no admission fee is charged from the JS Academy Management) in addition to this, uniform, books and copies have also been provided to the needy students free of cost.
Mr. Tetsuya Fujioka DMD Pak Suzuki presented symbolic key to the management of JS Academy; in his opening speech he said that Pak Suzuki appreciates the efforts of JS Academy for contributing towards humanity and this contribution of Pak Suzuki will help JS Academy to provide transport facility to the deaf students in a better way.
